For many years my law office was next to Joe's. His door, and his astute mind, were always open to me. Joe was so much more than a wonderful law partner. He loved a good joke and could tell a great story. His was a steady hand, a voice of wisdom borne of broad experience; a voice of reason and common decency, seen far too seldom in our world.
I have only good memories of my time with Joe. To his children: I know he set a great example for you to follow. Cal Trevenen
